Three Star Advance Final in All India Kalinga Cup Football Tournament
Nabil Three Star Club made it to the final of All India Kalinga Cup Football Tournament defeating Eastern Railway 3-2 in tie-breaker in Orissa on Thursday. The match was pushed to penalties after a goal less draw in the normal time. Santosh Sahukhala, Nirajan Khadka and Sandip Rai converted spot kicks for the Lalitpur based A Division Club. Anil Ojha and Anjan KC failed to score for their team. Three Star will take on the winner between Indian Army-XI and BNR Kolkata in the final on Saturday
Three Star Enter Semis in All India Kalinga Cup Football Tournament
Nabil Three Star Club booked their semi-final berth in the All India Kalinga Cup Football Tournament being held in Orissa, India on Tuesday.
Striker Santosh Sahukhala scored the lone goal in the 15th minute to steer the Lalitpur based A Division Club into the last four. Sahukhala met a Nirajan Khadka cross to score the decider. Three Star will take on Eastern Railway, Kolkata in the semi-final on Thursday.

A late equaliser from striker Santosh Sahukhala helped Nabil Three Star Club hold Boys Union Club (BUC) to a 1-1 draw in the Martyrs Memorial San Miguel A Division League math played here at the Dasharath Stadium on Friday.
Following the result, Three Star failed to cut the gap against league leaders Nepal Police Club (42) and second placed New Road Team (40) which defeated Ranipokhari Corner Team 3-1 on Friday. Three Star are unchanged at third with 36 points from 19 matches they played. Sahukhala reached the 50th league goal milestone when he scored collecting a corner from winger Anil Ojha in the 77th minute. The highest scorer of the league Sahukhala (18) had scored twice to defeat BUC 4-0 in the first leg on March 30.
Earlier, BUC took a 60 minute lead when Resham Rana chipped the ball over advancing Three Star golie Kiran Chemjong. Three Star glovesmen Chemjong made brilliant saves twice in the late first half to deny BUC lead. Three Star were unlucky when Sahukhala’s header in the cross by Bijay Gurung rebounded off in the 35th minute. Also, BUC defender Shuvam Shrestha cleared Surendra Tamang’s powerful shot from the goalline when their custodian Binaya Shrestha was not in his proper position. Binaya punched a superb strike by French midfielder Jocelyn Morgan Pierce in the 60th minute.
Santosh Sahukhala is the only fifth Nepali players to score 50 goals in the league. Basanta Thapa (Manang Marsyangdi Club), Ramesh Budhathoki (Nepal Police Club) and Surendra Tamang (Three Star) have scored 50 goals for their clubs.
Pralaya donates Jersey to NTSC

Kathmandu-Former National Players of Nepal; Pralaya Rajbhandari, who is in United States of America for his higher study, has donated one set football jersey to his former club Nabil Three Star Club.
His father Hiranya Singh Rajbhandari handed over the jersey to the skipper of NTSC Pradip Maharajan and custodian Kiran Chemjong in a program amid here in Kathmandu on Friday. Pralaya joined NTSC in 2061 and performed his duty as a mid fielder and defender for more than a year. Pralaya has been playing college level football in USA and has been regular touch with football being the coach of New York Nepali Football Club.
Addressing the program, Hiranya expressed his gratitude to his son and said, 'I'm very proud of my son as he did not forget his former club. I had told him not to forget his employers.'

Brace from Bijay helps NTSC to win
Kathmandu-Skipper Bijay Gurung scored twice as Nabil Three Star Club defeated relegation threatens Sankata Kathmandu Mall Club 4-1 in the ongoing Martyr's Memorial San Miguel A Division League Football being held at Dasrath Stadium on Thursday. The win means NTSC climbed one spot up beating New Road Team (NRT) in the better goal difference. Both NTSC and NRT have collected 28 points one point less than the leader Nepal Police Club (NPC). NPC will take on Manang Marsyangdi Club on Friday. SKMC could not come out from the relegation zone with the loss.
NRT took an early lead in the second minute through French Midfielder Jocelyn Moragan. Jocelyn scored from a close range in the cross pass set by Tanzanian playmaker Castory D. Mumbara. Bijay doubled the lead in the 14th minute collecting a pass by debutant Tanzanian Noel Christopher.
Bijay made the score 3-1 in the 83rd minute and substitute Surendra Tamang scored the fourth goal 87th minute. Nirajan Mall had scored a consolation goal for Sankata in the 26th minute.
